Dassault Systemes’s (Paris) technology has been selected by InnerPulse (Research Triangle Park, NC). InnerPulse will use the company’s Abaqus finite element analysis software in the development of its percutaneous implantable defibrillator. Using both SolidWorks CAD software and the Abaqus technology, InnerPulse engineers can perform analysis for concurrent device and tool design. InnerPulse says that the finite element analysis software enabled it to enhance collaboration between its designers and analysis experts as well as improve its productivity.
