Elma Electronic Inc. (Fremont, CA), a global manufacturer of electronic packaging products, has acquired ACT/Technico (Warminster, PA). According to Elma, the acquisition enhances its system integration capabilities and adds an extensive product and partner portfolio to the company's offerings. ACT/Technico is now part of Elma Electronic Inc. and will continue to provide the same products and services. The company supplies the medical imaging market with embedded, open standards–based products and subsystem integration services.
