Hipotronics and Haefely EMC, two companies known for their manufacture of high-voltage test and measurement equipment, announce the launch of a compact immunity test system, the AXOS 5, which will be sold under the Haefely EMC brand name.

The AXOS 5 compact immunity test system integrates many features into one box. This includes 5-kV Electrical Fast Transient (EFT) and surge combination wave, along with ac/dc dips and interrupt, and numerous external I/Os. This allows for quick, completely automated, and safe testing of products to the most common IEC, ANSI, IEEE, and UL standards including pre-defined test routines and setups. Additional features of the AXOS 5 are a large color graphic interface with industrial computer, easy-to-use menu functions with one-touch operation, real-time voltage and current monitoring, integrated 16-A single phase coupling and decoupling network, USB, and Ethernet connectivity for use with remote computers.
