Electronics and software engineers can prototype and test a range of Bluetooth products, including Continua-compliant telehealth sensors, on DEVA, a new comprehensive development platform. Running on Cambridge Silicon Radio’s BlueCore 5 multimedia chip, DEVA features a 128 × 128 monochrome liquid-crystal display, three user interface buttons, and LEDs. The device also features USB, serial, and MicroSD interfaces; a range of general-purpose input and output (GPIO); and both digital and analog stereo audio connections. The battery-powered DEVA works with the company’s Continua-compliant wireless health platform, VENA.
