The Model DCF2/3 magnet- and enamel-wire stripper can strip round magnet and enamel wires with any type of film insulation. Manufactured by the Eraser Company, Inc., the portable machine strips 32 to 12 AWG wire, cleanly removing the insulation while leaving the wire conductor undamaged. It is available in two versions, one that can strip wires with lengths up to 2½ in. and another that can strip wires of any length. Both units come with a removable length stop that is used when shorter strip lengths are needed. The stripper’s variable-speed power unit controls its speed. The tool is suited for the production and repair stripping of armatures, coils, chokes, transformers, relays, solenoids, and more.
