Lumen Dynamics Group (Mississauga, ON, Canada), a provider of light delivery solutions for the life sciences and medical device markets, has sold its Burleigh product line.

Thorlabs (Newton, NJ), a provider of photonics equipment, purchased the line of piezoelectric micromanipulators and microscope mounting systems. Lumen Dynamics plans to focus on its core business, including its X-Cite, OmniCure, and Excelerate brands, according to a press release. 

“Lumen Dynamics’ exclusive focus on delivering innovative, high-value light-based solutions will benefit our customers globally and allow our business to grow even stronger,” Allan Firhoj, president and CEO of Lumen Dynamics, said in a statement.
