SGS Consumer Testing Services (Fairfield, NJ), a provider of verification, testing, and certification services, has opened an electrical and electronics (E&E) testing center in Atlanta.

The facility will provide wireless and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing for products including medical devices, and features a 10-m EMC testing chamber. Other services offered include preliminary design reviews and customized product evaluation and test protocol programs.

“This lab expands our E&E testing capabilities to provide a comprehensive resource for brand manufacturers, retailers, and importers who need to meet local and international regulatory requirements,” Ozgur Ozturk, manager of operations at the new facility, said in a statement. “Additionally, customers needing certification marks and approvals for other countries will be able to utilize the facility to access global markets.”
