A subminiature push-pull device, the 2EP-series thermal circuit breaker is used in medical equipment applications requiring high interrupt performance and high resistance to shock and vibration. The circuit breaker is temperature-compensated to allow maintenance of a constant calibration, even under extreme temperature conditions. Its push-pull action lowers the risk of accidental tripping, and its thermal design provides a delay sufficient for minimizing nuisance trips. The circuit breaker is rated to 75 V dc and 250 V ac at 60 Hz, is recognized to UL 1077, and comes with current ratings from 1 to 25 A. It also has a variety of mounting and terminal configurations. Its high interrupt performance and dc and ac voltage ratings are made possible by the device’s multibreak design.
